I just received a note from Lindsay at CHSFS and we are officially waiting for our infant child! We are so excited. The wait times quoted to us are 4-6 months with boys being about 4 months and girls 5-6 months. This should be a worst case scenario and we are cautiously optimistic of still traveling in the June-July timeframe.
Our dossier will now go for authentification at the US Dept of State and the Ethiopian Embassy and will then go on to Ethiopia where it will wait for us to recieve and accept a referral.
Now that the holidays are over, we will start converting Theresa's office into the nursery - we have lots of ideas and can't wait to get started.
