Easter

Happy Belated Easter everyone!  We had a nice Easter out of town visiting with family.  The girls did pretty well overall despite Makenna having an ear infection and trying to see the doctor at the so-called walk-in.  Apparently they take appointments too so it was rather difficult to see a doctor.  I think they took sympathy on us which is fine by me.  Here are some pictures from our weekend.

My Grandmother movd into an assisted living a few weeks ago - we helped her settle in over the weekend and the girls loved checking out the place as well as greeting some of the tenants

New Camera

Anyone have a NIKON D40?  We are looking at purchasing a used one from someone we know.  It has been fun learning about cameras and trying it out.  I'd love to take a photography class in the next year as I love to take pictures of my girls.  Plus it is time to get a camera that can actually capture some action shots without being blurring or having a long delay.

 Here are my favorite pictures we took from the other night.  The first shot is our dog Toby and the second one is Sebastian.  The other two I think you can figure out :) Not bad from two rookies who are just playing. 

Joys of Sisterhood

Sometimes I wonder who is the oldest and who is the youngest.  In our house, Makenna loves to pick on Maya.  Makenna seems to enjoy pinching, pulling of the hair, teasing, and doing anything annoying to Maya.  Of couse Maya is not a fan of her little sister picking on her and instead of using her words, Maya opts to cry and whine.  No wonder why a bottle of Advil doesn't last long in our house!

Today Grandma Linda sent the girls a little something and oh did we have a war on who was going to open the envelope.  I think the pictures says it all.  Thanks Grandma Linda for giving me a reason to take another two Advil.  Ha!
