We have had a busy and fun few days. One night we met up with friends at our local Chuck E Cheese. The kids had a blast and the adults had a chance to visit some. Maya had fun sitting on all the various rides without any coins. She is a cheap date!
Yesterday we took Maya to her first ever movie in the theatre. We saw the movie "Princess and the Frog" with our good friends Evan, Terri-Lee, and their daughter Wren. The girls behaved perfectly throughout the entire movie. Maya had to go potty once and that was it. I am so proud of them!
After the movie, we headed over to other good friends of ours and spent time chatting, eating, and just having fun. The girls get along so well and had a great time! Thank you Kimberly and Greg for hosting!
Today we are busy trying to pack for our big trip. We leave this week so packing must be completed by the end of the weekend. Dave's sister Cherrie and her fellow co-workers sent us a box of goodies to take over with us. We plan to give them to the boys at Kolfe Orphanage which our church sponsors. Thank you Cherrie and to all of your co-workers who generously donated to the boys. We can't wait to bring it to them!

We have just started the paperchase for a baby girl and pix of Maya are KILLING me!!! She is so so so adorable!!!
Oh, it is gonna be a long year....
Where did the time go - you are leaving this week??? I'm so excited for you. Ethiopia is beautiful right now and it will be that much greater with your baby in your arms!!! Yay!
